Fleet management system

Your fleet,
in the same admin panel
as your ride-hailing operations.

The two-systems trap kills most ride-hailing operators by year two: the dispatch platform and the fleet spreadsheet drift apart, and the spreadsheet wins. Waslni puts both in one admin panel, sharing one source of truth.

Most ride-hailing operators end up running two systems: one for the rider/driver apps and dispatch, and another spreadsheet-or-legacy-tool for fleet management — vehicle records, document tracking, driver payouts, partner-fleet commissions. The two are never in sync, the spreadsheet always wins, and the operator quietly stops trusting the platform reports.

Waslni was built to put the fleet system inside the same admin panel as the ride-hailing operations. Every driver has a record with their documents, their vehicle, their wallet, their payout history, their compliance status. Every vehicle has its inspection dates, registration, insurance certificate. Every partner-fleet has its commission terms and its monthly statement. One source of truth, one settlement run, one set of finance reports.

This is not a separate fleet-management product layered on top. It is the same data model the dispatch engine and the rider app already use. Add a driver, configure their fleet partner, watch them appear in the dispatch live-map and the finance report at the same time. Four weeks gets you there — same timeline as the rest of the platform.

What ships

Fleet tooling,
not bolt-ons

Drivers

Driver records with documents + history

Every driver has a record with national ID, license, vehicle assignment, document expiry tracking, rating history, trip history, earnings history, and audit log of every operator action involving them.

Vehicles

Vehicle records with compliance

Each vehicle tracked by license plate, registration certificate, insurance certificate, inspection certificate, vehicle category (sedan / SUV / van / motorcycle), assigned driver. Expiry alerts trigger automatic offline-mode.

Wallet

Per-driver wallet + payouts

Driver wallet tracks earnings, cash collected, commission, bonuses, deductions. Weekly or daily payout cycles. Bank-file or gateway-disbursed transfers. Reconciliation against gateway statements.

Partner fleets

Multiple partner-fleets per operator

A large operator often signs partner-fleets that supply drivers under their own ownership. Waslni supports nested fleet partners with their own commission terms, monthly statements, and dedicated admin permissions.

Geofences

Per-driver city + zone assignments

Drivers can be assigned to specific cities or zones. Premium drivers can be assigned exclusively to premium service types. Airport-pool drivers can have airport-only access.

Compliance

Document workflow + audit log

Admin-composable document checklist. Drivers self-upload through the registration flow; operators approve from the admin panel. Audit log captures every approval and rejection.

Finance

Finance reports with fleet breakdown

Daily, weekly, monthly finance reports break trips and revenue down by fleet, by driver, by city, by service type, by payment method. VAT-ready. Bank-file export.

Maintenance

Optional maintenance scheduling

Per-vehicle maintenance log with reminder thresholds based on kilometres driven or time since last service. Maintenance status reflects in driver-app availability.

Permissions

Role-based fleet permissions

Fleet manager role with permissions scoped to their assigned fleet. Cannot see other fleets, cannot edit operator-level config. Audit log of every action they take.

Fleet manager questions

Plain answers
for fleet operators

01 /

Is fleet management a separate product on Waslni?

No. Fleet management is part of the same admin panel that handles ride-hailing dispatch, finance, and configuration. The data model is shared — adding a driver in fleet management automatically makes them dispatchable, and a completed trip automatically updates the driver wallet and the finance report.

02 /

Can I run multiple partner-fleets under one operator?

Yes. Operators with partner-fleet arrangements (sub-contractor fleets that supply drivers under their own ownership) can configure each partner-fleet with its own commission terms, monthly statement, and dedicated admin permissions. Fleet managers see only their own fleet's data.

03 /

How does document expiry tracking work?

Every driver document and every vehicle document has an expiry date. The system tracks them; drivers receive SMS reminders before expiry; on lapse, drivers automatically go offline until they upload a renewed document. The admin sees an expiring-documents dashboard for proactive intervention.

04 /

Does this replace a dedicated fleet management software like Fleetio or Geotab?

For ride-hailing operators, yes — Waslni's fleet module covers the core operational needs (drivers, vehicles, documents, payouts, partner-fleets, compliance). For deep telematics (engine diagnostics, fuel-consumption analysis, route-optimisation across non-passenger fleets), a dedicated telematics product may complement it.

05 /

How are partner-fleet commissions handled?

Each partner-fleet has its own commission terms (e.g. operator takes 5% off each trip, partner-fleet takes the rest). Monthly settlement runs produce a statement per partner-fleet showing trips, revenue, operator commission, partner net. Exported as PDF or CSV.
